Free-Range Poultry Farming:

  • Free-range poultry farming allows the birds to roam freely outdoors, which is considered more natural and healthier compared to conventional methods. The chickens are fed a combination of natural forages and commercial feed.

Organic Poultry Farming:

  • Organic poultry farming emphasizes raising birds without the use of synthetic chemicals, antibiotics, or hormones. The feed provided to the birds is organic and natural.
  • Popular Regions: Organic poultry farms are growing in regions like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Kerala.

Turkey and Duck Farming:

  • In addition to chicken, turkey and duck farming are becoming popular in specific regions of India. Ducks are raised for both meat and eggs, while turkeys are primarily raised for their meat.
